Description

The University of Michigan School of Nursing received over $2 million from HRSA to create a program called EPIC Pathways: Nursing Health Equity Scholars Program (EPIC Pathways). EPIC Pathways will to advance opportunities for disadvantaged and underrepresented minority (URM) Michigan community college students to enroll in a three-year sophomore transfer BSN program. The purpose of the program is to increase the pipeline of underrepresented nurses that will address health equity for underserved populations in the Ann Arbor area. U of M School of Nursing will provide opportunities and support in the form of scholarships, stipends, mentoring, coaching, academic and wellbeing resources for at least 254 students over the project period. The grant period ends in June 2025.
