Virtual Behavioral Health Career Day
Explore Meaningful Careers in Behavioral Health
In partnership with the Michigan Department of Education School Behavioral Health Unit, Michigan Health Council (MHC) is hosting a virtual Behavioral Health Career Day on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 9:00am-2:00pm to help students discover the many rewarding pathways in Behavioral Health.

This statewide virtual event will connect high school and middle school students, educators, and counselors to behavioral health professionals, employers, and training programs across Michigan. Together, we’ll explore how students can make a difference in their communities through a career in behavioral health.

Classrooms and individuals can drop in throughout the day on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 9am to 2pm.

Across Michigan, the demand for behavioral health professionals continues to grow. By connecting students early to career pathways and local opportunities, we can strengthen the workforce that supports our state’s mental health and wellbeing.
