Description
Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems Workforce Strategies includes a focus on recruitment by participating in Thumb Community Health Partnership workgroups and other workforce panning and employer-led collaborative meetings, offering nursing and social worker apprenticeship opportunities and educational / guest speaking opportunities with 9th & 10th graders. Tuscola is also working on expanding the number of internships and job shadow opportunities available to students. To support the retention of the current workforce, Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems offers opportunities for employee development, training, and conferences, as well as waiving pension hour requirements to supplement the workforce.
