Description
This scholarship provides financial assistance to students seeking a degree or certificate in orientation and mobility, low vision, assistive technology, and communication and daily living therapy. The program helps the Veterans Health Administration meet its need for qualified rehabilitation specialists. After completion of their education, awardees must serve as a full-time clinical VA employee for a minimum of 3 years. The application cycle starts in February and closes in March for fall/winter semester start dates.
Award for full-time student: Pays school tuition and required fees up to $15,000 per year and total amount of assistance is up to $45,000.
