Description
The American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) Clinical PEP: Practices of Effective Preceptors program is a standardized preceptor training course for hospitals and colleges to train current respiratory therapists to become preceptors and/or to provide extra training to current preceptors. The curriculum was developed by faculty at The Ohio State University and it covers principles of adult learning, handling feedback, understanding the learning context and instruction on responding to challenging trainees. The program participants will receive continuing education credits by completing the program.
