Description
Members of the American Psychiatry Association can join Minority and Underrepresented (M/UR) caucuses for the following groups: American Indian/Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian, Asian-American, Black, Hispanic, International Medical Graduates, LGBTQ and Women. The Minority and Underrepresented caucuses allow member psychiatrists to participate in networking opportunities, advocate for minority mental health issues, advance treatment of minority populations and represent their group in the association's governance. The goals of the M/UR caucuses are to engage and support psychiatrists from minority backgrounds.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
