Description
The American Indian Nurse Scholarship Award Program gives students of American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Hawaiian Native descent the opportunity to pursue careers in nursing, healthcare, and health education. It assists students who plan to work on reservations or in hospitals that serve native populations with the goal of improving healthcare in those communities.
The scholarship is $1,500 per semester as long as the student is in good academic standing. Applications for Fall are due June 1; applications for Spring are due December 1.
