Description

The Ambulance Service Manager (ASM) Program is a certification course that provides participants with skills on how to be an effective leader in EMS services. The ASM program, run by Fitch & Associates, has an online component, followed by two 6-day periods of in-person training sessions. Each cohort has 40 participants who learn about case studies and real-world applications of theories to prepare them for critical issues faced by today's EMS departments and leaders. Some topics covered during the course include: EMS system design and deployment, how work styles differ and how to take advantage of that diversity, and the foundations of EMS systems.

Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
