Description
SEMCA-WIN has grant funding from USDOL for the WIN network of community colleges and Michigan Works! agencies in southeast Michigan to enroll 350 individuals in a "Pre-Apprenticeship Training Academy", in many industries. The grant provides pre-apprenticeship training and tuition reimbursement funds for individuals enrolled in the programs. The relevance of the grant to healthcare is to grow and expand healthcare apprentices, which will lead to more healthcare workers, by advancing incumbent employees and attracting new talent.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
