Description
This program prepares nurses to meet the health care needs of rural and underserved communities in Michigan’s Thumb region. Its mission is to enhance educational opportunities for students from Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac and Tuscola counties, empowering them to serve locally and improve health care quality in these areas. It is funded through the HRSA grants. It funds a four-year BSN program with a commitment to work three years post-graduation in rural areas. Funds end in 2028.
