Tahquamenon Area Schools in Luce County has a CTE program for CNA. The program has a direct partnership with the nearby Helen Newberry Joy Hospital in the Eastern U.P. The hospital is one of the largest employers in the area, so the goal of implementing the program was to provide Tahquamenon Area Schools students with an introduction to the healthcare field and a connection with the hospital which has many employment opportunities for students who will stay in the area after graduation.
