Description
The Reach Out to Youth (ROTY) is a medical profession exploration program for children ages 7 - 11 and their parents. It is a Saturday workshop held at Wayne State University School of Medicine, MSU College of Human Medicine, University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine by each school's current medical students. Children take part in hands-on experiments while parents learn about educational resources to help their families be successful. The purpose of the program is to expose elementary school children and their families to careers in medicine.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
