Description
Michigan Center for Rural Health is reaching out to undergraduate programs and medical schools to recruit future healthcare providers. MCRH recognizes that rural areas of Michigan do not have enough primary care physicians and social workers, so MCRH staff are collaborating with universities, such as MSU and CMU, to give presentations to pre-med students and medical school students to try to encourage them to become primary care physicians, and to social work programs and psychology departments to encourage students on those tracks to practice in rural areas.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
