Description
This 6-week summer work/training initiative is specifically designed to guide Detroit's youth, aged 16-24, as they navigate the vast landscape of healthcare career options. The program proudly operates under the banner of the Grow Detroit's Young Talent Program. Over a span of just 6 weeks, participants get an immersive introduction to the nursing profession, experiencing robust, in-person, hands-on training that brings theoretical concepts to life. Our curriculum delves into an array of job roles within the nursing realm, covering positions like home health aide, nurse assistant, phlebotomist, respiratory therapist, licensed practical and registered nurse, nurse practitioner, and nurse anesthetist. Nursing Detroit is a for-profit LLC.
