Description
As a part of MDHHS's SDOH strategy, MDHHS is collaborating with MiCHWA to fund training/certification of CHWs at no cost whose primary language is not English and who work at small, growing nonprofits that are located in underserved communities. Their goal is to increase workforce that integrates social care into health care delivery. Nonprofit employers can identify up to 20 employees eligible for CHW training; CHWs must work at their employer for 1 year after receiving certification.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
