Description
The West Michigan Works! Medical Assistant Registered Apprenticeship Program (MARAP) is open to students at Grand Rapids Community College and Muskegon Community College. While participants are working toward their Medical Assistant certificate, they will be paid for 24 hours of part-time work/week at one of three employers: Trinity Health, University of Michigan Health-West, and Corewell Health. MARAP is a one-year commitment and participants must commit to work with their employer after completing the apprenticeship program.
