Description
This program is administered by MDHHS and incentivizes BSWs to obtain an MSW degree and provide behavioral health services. MDHSS provides funds for each participating university, which then awards program funds to participants at the school. This program intends to provide a one-time $30,000 stipend to BSW students who agree to enter a full-time advanced standing MSW program and fulfill the program's post-graduation service obligation. Service obligations require participants to provide at least two years of full-time public sector behavioral health service within Michigan after graduation from an MSW program.
