Description
InterCare Community Health Network's Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program is a 12 month program that combines paid, on-the-job training with online classes that enable participants to take an exam to become certified clinical medical assistants once they complete the program. Graduates are required to work in one of InterCare's clinics. The goals of the MA apprenticeship program are to increase the number of employed MAs and to give InterCare employees and community members an opportunity to advance their careers and support their families with higher-paying jobs. Additionally, InterCare offers a similar apprenticeship program for Dental Assistants.
