Description

The Early Assurance Opportunity (EAO) is a program that accepts MSU students who want to care for underserved populations into the College of Human Medicine for medical school at the end of their junior year of undergrad. This program allows accepted students to spend their senior year conducting research, participating in Study Abroad, or pursuing other personal and academic interests, which they would normally not have the time to do. Preference is given to students who are first-gen college students, that graduated from low-income high schools, who are eligible for need-based grants and who want to work in a high-need medical specialty area.
