Description

Care for the Caregivers is a unique fund through Sparrow Health Systems that supports Sparrow-employed caregivers who have experienced a major loss, catastrophe, illness, or medical condition that adversely affects those caregivers' wellbeing. The fund was created by caregivers to support their coworkers. The Care for the Caregivers committee raises funds through the Sparrow Foundation and from special events. The intention of the fund is to support healthcare workers' mental and/or physical health, which increases workforce retention.
