Description
Cherry Health, a community health center with over 20 locations, has partnered with AmeriCorps with the help of a CDC grant to fund 20 full-time AmeriCorps members at their sites. The AmeriCorps members receive CHW training, as well as personal and professional development. This grant-funded initiative increases the number of CHWs working at Cherry Health, and the number of CHWs in the healthcare workforce overall.
