Description
Wayne State University has launched a program designed to increase the number of advanced education nurses who practice on primary care teams as the supply of primary care physicians diminishes. This program, Expanding Clinical Immersion Program Site Education in the D, is recruiting, matching, and providing financial aid to 36 primary care APRN students. $2,686,363 will go towards this 4-year project that will develop a replicable longitudinal clinical experience for 36 advanced nursing education students with the help of three of Wayne State's longstanding communication/practice partners: Advanced Health, Campus Health Center, and Ascension Health.
