Description
The Biomedical Career Advancement Pipeline Program (BCAP) is a summer research experience for high school students that are interested in pursuing health careers. BCAP program participants receive training to conduct health-sciences research at Wayne State University, alongside senior research/clinical faculty. The purpose of the program is to encourage students from Wayne County, Detroit Public Schools and/or from disadvantaged backgrounds to study health-related majors in college. BCAP participants also get to explore careers, engage in professional development, earn a monetary award and establish a health science professional network.
