ACEMAPP Convenes Clinical Education Professionals for Nationwide Symposium

ACEMAPP, a product of Michigan Health Council (MHC), recently hosted its first-ever ACEMAPP Symposium on June 21, 2022. This virtual meeting convened nearly 300 ACEMAPP partners from all over the country - from Michigan to Georgia, from Oregon to South Carolina, and beyond. ACEMAPP is used by our partners as a collaborative platform for health care education, recruitment, and professional development.

Craig Donahue, Vice President and COO of MHC, kicked off the day by thanking everyone for their partnership, in acknowledgment that our work would not be possible without their support and participation. MHC developed ACEMAPP in 2008 as a solution for limited clinical education opportunities in southeast Michigan. Since then, it has grown to be used by thousands of health care programs nationwide.

Next, partners from Cleveland Clinic, Brenau University, and Wellstar Health System discussed the innovative ways they are using ACEMAPP to streamline their clinical education processes, find new ways to educate students during the pandemic, and increase preceptor participation. The morning continued with sessions on recent ACEMAPP system updates, tips and tricks, and the new communities feature.

In the afternoon, coordinators had the opportunity to network with fellow program coordinators from across the country in the following settings:

  • APRN

  • Allied Health

  • Credentialing, Badging, and Security

  • MD/DO

  • Nursing

  • PA

  • Rehab and Pharmacy

The ACEMAPP team at MHC understands the importance of providing secure, measurable, and actionable data, which is why they made sure to end the day with instructional reporting breakouts for schools and clinical site members. The final sessions went over a variety of ways to export data, including both the most popular and most underutilized reports in ACEMAPP.

Of you were able to attend, we hope you found this event to be both valuable and informative. If you have any questions regarding this event or ACEMAPP, please contact our support team at [email protected] or 844-223-4292.
