Description
The Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) program allows medical and public health students to engage in short-term learning opportunities at other institutions in the United States and in other countries. These elective opportunities can enhance students' medical education. Opportunities include observerships, summer research programs, clinical opportunities, away rotations, away electives, clinical rotations and visiting opportunities. The opportunities are available in teaching hospitals, community clinics, urban and rural sites. The VSLO program run by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) is offered at over 300 participating home and host institutions.
