Description
The Trauma-Informed, Resilience-Oriented (TIRO) toolkit teaches Community Mental Health organizations, Substance Use Care Organizations and Mobile Crisis Units in the state of Indiana how to complete a screening and assessment process for patients that are coming to seek treatment. The toolkit includes 8 staff training topics and resources to assist organizations with implementing TIRO care. Some of the training topics include: Trauma and its Connection to Health and Addiction, Trauma-Informed Physical Assessment and Trauma & Equity 101. The TIRO toolkit is provided by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing with funding from the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration.
