Description
The American College of Surgeons (ACS) offers a Surgeon Well-Being website that has numerous resources dedicated to help improve many aspects of surgeons' health, but it focuses mostly on mental and emotional health. ACS developed collections of resources related to Surgeon Well-Being to foster resilience, health and work-life integration for surgeons at any stage of their career, and ultimately to reduce surgeon turnover. Collections of resources include "Suicide Prevention and Awareness", "Mindfulness in Surgery", "Mental Health Awareness" and "The Whole Surgeon". The formats of resources vary and include webinars, YouTube videos, articles and links to online services.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
