Description
Project REACH (Realizing Excellence through Academics and Careers in Health) is a healthcare pathways initiative starting in Fall 2023 that will provide experiential learning opportunities, mentorship, and healthcare internships for Black high schoolers in Denver. Project REACH aims to address the underrepresentation of Black health professionals by introducing students to career opportunities in in-demand fields, with an emphasis on school-based health care. The project will recruit at least 20 students for a two-year, cohort-based program. Project REACH is funded with a grant from the NBA Foundation and is a partnership between the School-Based Health Alliance and Youth Healthcare Alliance.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
