Description
The National Medical Fellowships (NMF) Primary Care Leadership Program (PCLP) is 6-week-long summer program that provides future health care professionals with training and experience serving at community health centers in the United States. The goal of the program is to increase access to primary care for underserved communities. PCLP scholars complete 200 service-learning hours at an assigned CHC site and a variety of leadership training, clinical experiences and projects. PCLP is open to medical students, graduate-level nursing students and physician assistant students that are underrepresented in medicine and/or socioeconomically disadvantaged.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
