Description
The "Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation" initiative was created by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Enterprise in 2017 to engage nurses around improving their health in six areas: mental health, physical activity, nutrition, rest, quality of life and safety. The goal of Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation is to improve nurses' wellbeing and expand nurses' potential to provide the best care they can for their communities and their patients. Nurses take a health assessment survey to get a sense of their health risks, make health commitments in one of the six areas and participate in monthly health challenges to encourage them to take action. The web platform provides content and resources to nurses and connects nurses with each other to promote behavior change. As of 2022, Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation has more than 340K participants.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
