Description
The EMS Supervisor Academy is a 60-hour experiential education program that is designed to develop frontline EMS supervisors' skills and employee engagement abilities. The EMS Supervisor Academy is delivered in three, three-day levels, with each level being 20 hours long. The levels are broken up into dialogue, small group exercises, role-playing and lectures. Some of the skills that participants develop are: listening, hearing the story beneath the story, prioritization, and "translating organizational vision/mission into 3 AM decisions". The program is run by an EMS consulting firm called SafeTech Solutions.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
