Description
The American Public Health Association (APHA) Kaiser Permanente Community Health Fellowship is a year-long fellowship to develop a group of early career professionals who recently graduated from a master's or doctorate degree program by providing them with an opportunity to support and lead community health projects and programs. The fellowship work is around improving the health of vulnerable populations and communities in Kaiser Permanente-served areas by addressing determinants of health. Fellows must have recently graduated from one of Kaiser Permanente's partner universities and preference is given to candidates who are from communities of color and underrepresented backgrounds. Fellows receive a $120,000 stipend, monthly professional development sessions and a stipend to attend the APHA annual conference.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
