Description
YouthBuild Benton Harbor is a program that offers vocational training for 16-24 year old students who lack high school diplomas and financial resources in a non-residential, community-based alternative education program. The vocational training is not specific to healthcare, but participants can earn their CNA certification. Participants in the 6-8 month program receive a daily stipend, connect with apprenticeships and/or employment and can earn their GED or high school diploma. The program is sponsored by Michigan Works! of Berrien, Cass and Van Buren, U.S. DOL and United Way of Southwest Michigan.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
