Description
The West Michigan Health Careers Pipeline Program is a collaborative program between Western Michigan's College of Health and Human Services, GVSU, MSU College of Medicine and Corewell Health. Cohorts of 9th and 10th graders from underrepresented populations at West Michigan high schools meet weekly with undergraduate student mentors who are majoring in a health-related program. The program is 7 weeks long and is focused on health career exploration and college readiness. The goal of the program is to increase diversity in healthcare professions and to increase healthcare professionals in general.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
