Description
The Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) at University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry provides educational and professional development experience for under-resourced and/or underrepresented students so that they can successfully gain admission into dental school and pursue a career in dentistry. The SEP provides supplemental education and resources for juniors, seniors, and recent college graduates that have already taken the Dental Admission Test (DAT) at least once. It is a free, 9-week program that has an in-person residential program component on the UMD Dental campus. The goal of the program is to increase the number of dentists that are from diverse and/or marginalized backgrounds.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
