Description
The Region 9 Doula Project's goal is to increase and diversify the Doula workforce in Southeast Michigan. It is housed within Region 9 Perinatal Quality Collaborative. The project, funded by a grant, plans to educate both care providers and community members about the benefits of Doula care, financially sponsor a diverse cohort to become trained Doulas and develop a mentorship program between the diverse Doulas and established community-based Doulas.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
