ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital requested a cumulative amount of $1,614,760 over 5 years to implement ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital-Women’s Health and Obstetrics Fellowship (PMRH-WHOF). PMRH-WHOF is a one-year graduate medical education fellowship for family medicine physicians. Those who participate in the program will learn how to provide full-spectrum care to patients in areas of the country that are rural and under-resourced. By June 30th 2026, the PMRH-WHOF will have educated and trained 5 board-certified family medicine fellows in obstetrics care.
