Description
The Post-baccalaureate Premedical Program at the University of Michigan Medical School (Postbac MEDPREP) is an 8 to 14-month program designed to enable someone without a science background to prepare for medical school and a career as a physician. The program includes foundational scientific classes (biology, physics, chemistry, physiology, and biochemistry), MCAT preparation and a "Foundations for Aspiring Physicians" course where MEDPREP students get to interact with UM Medical School faculty. The goal of the program is to help successful individuals who want to switch careers with preparation to transition into a career in medicine.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
