Description
Next Generation Health Careers Academy (NGHCA) is a set of programs at Michigan Health Council that helps educators build healthcare career awareness, exploration, and preparation into their curriculum by providing healthcare career development resources such as lesson plans, events and videos. The healthcare career development curriculum aligns with Michigan's Career Development Model. NGHCA has three programs - Scrubs Club, which builds healthcare career awareness for grades K-6; Health Careers Lab, which build healthcare career awareness and exploration for grades 7-8; and Prepped for Success, which provides healthcare career preparation for grades 9-12.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
