Description
MyMichigan Health has a new graduate nurse residency program to assist recent R.N. grads in the transition from an entry-level R.N. to a comptetent R.N. The program is 12-months long and incorporates unit-specific training, specialty area education, and monthly professional development sessions focused on the soft skills of nursing. The goal of the program is to provide additional support and resources to nurses in their first year of work to improve their job readiness and also retention.
