Description
MDHHS has allocated $3.5 million to create the Michigan Behavioral Health Internship Stipend Program (MI-BHISP). MI-BHISP financially supports future behavioral health providers by providing them with a stipend of up to $15,000 if they have an unpaid internship at a community mental health agency, PIHP, tribal health center/facility/program, or public school. Stipends can be used on tuition, fees, books, and living expenses. The program will fund between 230 and 700 interns.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
