Description
Madison High School is a part of Lenawee ISD but has a local district CTE program in Biomedical Sciences. The Biomedical Sciences program is part of Project Lead The Way. Courses include Principles of Biomedical Science, Human Body Systems and Medical Interventions. The teacher that runs the program, Katie McGormley, was named a national teacher of the year for Project Lead the Way in 2022. The Biomedical Sciences program has a practicum clinical partnership with ProMedica Charles & Virginia Hickman Hospital for students to participate in medical job shadowing and clinical rotations.
