Description
LSSU's Post-Baccalaureate Rural Nurse Residency Certificate Program provides first-year BSNs with advanced instruction and education to prepare them for working in a rural healthcare setting. The residency program lasts for 12 months and the participants are paid to work 36 hours/week during the program. The program's goals are to improve healthcare for rural communities and to increase retention of BSN-prepared RNs.
