Description
Michigan State University College of Nursing received $1,454,563 from HRSA to increase access, recruitment, and retention of sexual assault nurse examiners (SANEs) in underserved, rural areas of Michigan. With the grant funding, MSU College of Nursing will financially support a diverse group of 150 nurses through SANE training and certification, provide new SANE education opportunities through 14 new training options and a resource toolkit, and facilitate community focus groups to identify barriers for the training, practice, collaboration, and sustainability of SANE programs.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
