Description
The BCPS Health and Teacher Education Pipeline Scholarship Program is an initiative funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation that supports high school seniors from Battle Creek Public Schools that were admitted to GVSU with funding to cover tuition, fees, housing and dining and a book stipend for 8 semesters of college. Students must declare their undergraduate major in Teacher Education, Nursing or Health Professions and are required to complete at least one internship in Battle Creek. Some goals of the Scholarship Program are to provide resources and support to ensure students complete their degree, encourage students to pursue experiential learning and opportunities in Battle Creek, and increase the number of teachers and healthcare professionals in the nearby communities.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
