Description
The Going PRO Talent Fund awards funds to Michigan employers to assist in training, developing, and retaining current and newly hired employees. The funds come from the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity - Workforce Development (LEO-WD) and are distributed to employers via Michigan Works! agencies. The purposes of the Talent Fund are to upskill current employees through short-term training or apprenticeship programs, to help employers have a trained and competent workforce based on their needs and to enhance employees' credentials and employability. Although Talent Fund does not solely award healthcare employers, they did give out 120 healthcare awards in FY23.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
