Description
The "Falls Prevention Training" at Western Michigan University is an initiative that was created to train healthcare workers in fall-prevention for older adults, and is funded by Michigan Health Endowment Fund. The "SaferCaring" group at WMU created online modules aimed at changing healthcare providers' behaviors, improving communication and problem-solving around falls prevention. The training modules will be used in at least 9 county medical facilities across Michigan.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
