Description
MSU's School of Nursing recently received a grant from MDHHS to increase the number of psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners in the state of Michigan. The grant will provide stipends of up to $30,000 to RNs or APRNs to advance their degree and specialize in psychiatric mental health, with an agreement that program participants must practice in underrepresented poulations. The goal of the program is to increase the number of mental health providers that treat medically underserved populations.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
