Description

The Biomedical Career Advancement Pipeline Program (BCAP) is a summer research experience for high school students that are interested in pursuing health careers. BCAP program participants receive training to conduct health-sciences research at Wayne State University, alongside senior research/clinical faculty. The purpose of the program is to encourage students from Wayne County, Detroit Public Schools and/or from disadvantaged backgrounds to study health-related majors in college. BCAP participants also get to explore careers, engage in professional development, earn a monetary award and establish a health science professional network.

Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
