SURVEY: APRN Practice Restrictions & COVID-19 Pandemic Effects

We Need to Hear from APRNs Across the Country!

The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented circumstances and provided the opportunity to highlight the contributions of APRNs and need to reduce practice barriers. Please participate in a brief 5-minute survey. You can access the survey here through July 2020.

The purpose of the study is to: 1) Describe state practice barriers: Ongoing barriers to care are especially important in reduced or restricted APRN practice states. 2) Determine the effect of COVID-19 pandemic-related Executive Orders waiving or suspending practice restrictions: Both favorable or minimal impact is important as states decide whether to continue waivers and suspensions or revert to prior restrictions. 3) Explore the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on APRN practice: It is important that the essential role of APRNs be documented, and lessons derived in preparation for the next pandemic.

The brief, anonymous, voluntary, IRB reviewed survey can be accessed online at: redcap.link/nationalAPRNSurvey
